There are several ways to navigate Globeescape.com to find the information and services that you need. You can search by Destination, Service or use Globeescape.com’s special search facility.
Destinations
From the home page, click on the continent you want to visit to start your journey with Globeescape.com.
Select the destination you require from our most popular destination list, or click through to the state or country you require by navigating from the list of options provided. You can also click straight through to our most popular destinations for each travel service from the continent home page.
To look for a destination in a different continent, click the Home Page navigation link on the top left hand corner of the page.
From the destination home page that you have selected, you will be able to read local travel guides and travelogues and choose from a range of travel services including great holiday deals and hotel reviews. To select the service that you require for your chosen destination click on the travel service listed on the destination home page.
Globeescape.com has an ever expanding catalogue of over 2,500 guides to over a thousand destinations around the world, if you cannot find a guide or want to recommend a destination you think our travel writers should explore, do not hesitate to contact the editorial team.

To search for independent reviews, helpful information and unbeatable deals on a range of travel services, select the service that you require from our home page, and then select the destination you require either from our most popular destinations listed, or by selecting the continent and then country/state and city that you require.
Globeescape.com has a commitment to providing practical, useful information for all types of travellers, that’s why all our travel sections are fully interactive, enabling users to submit their own reviews of every travel consolidator that we list – so if you feel that a particular hotel was a let down, or that a holiday operator exceeded your expectations, let our users know and submit your reviews.
We rely on the submissions of our travel community to help our travellers make informed decisions on how they choose to spend their holiday.
Within the Hotel Travel Services section, users can organize their search by selecting the order of results by Star Rating, Hotel Name or User Rating by selecting the appropriate option on the left-hand side navigation of the hotel page.

Searching Globeescape
Alternatively, users can search directly for information and services within Globeescape.com by using our search facility. Enter the destination and/or service you require to bring up a list of pages covering the information that you require.
Search Tips: Globeescape.com’s search facility will search for only the terms that you enter, so if you are looking for accommodation in New York, you might search “New York” & “Hotel”, whereas, simply searching “New York” will bring up all our guides and services listed for New York.
The more precisely you describe the service or destination that you are looking for, the more accurate the results from your search should be.
For example, if you are looking for a Golf Vacation in Cape Town, the search terms “golf holiday Cape Town” will bring up golf holiday options in Cape Town, far more accurately than simply searching for “holiday South Africa”, which would bring up general results for all types of holidays in South Africa.
Within Globeescape.com, travellers can also search for destinations or services within the specific section. For example, from the Airport section, travellers can search for specific airports instantly using our search facility.
Globeescape Submissions
Globeescape.com actively encourages its users to submit their reviews, experiences and thoughts as freely as possible, providing our community of travellers, access to genuinely practical and independent travel information.
Each section of Globeescape.com is fully interactive, allowing users to submit their reviews and experiences online.
It is a condition of the Globeescape’s submissions policy that users do not post any unlawful, abusive, libelous, obscene, defamatory, pornographic or otherwise harmful information. Nor are users permitted to post writing containing harassing or offensive language, including sexual references, racial slurs or any other deliberately inflammatory comments or suggestions.
All submissions are manually checked by our team of travel editors prior to their inclusion on the Globeescape website. We aim to include all accepted submissions within 48hrs.
Submitting to Globeescape.com
Travelogues
To submit your travel stories, adventures and experiences, go to the Travelogues section and select the area of the world that your travelogue relates to most closely. At the bottom of the page you have selected you will find a submission box, where you can type or cut and paste (“ctrl” + “c” & “ctrl” + “v”) your travel writings. It is important that you also select the country or area of the world that your travelogue covers, as this is how your travelogue will be indexed.
You are also required to submit a Title for your writings which most accurately describes your experience. Try and make this as catchy as possible, as this will be the first thing people read to decide whether they want to read your travelogue.
Once submitted, your travelogue will be manually checked by one of our travel editors to ensure that it meets our submissions policy. Approved submissions usually go live within 48hrs of submission, and you will receive an email from one of our travel editors as confirmation that your site has gone live. Your travelogue will be listed within the destination section that you selected on your submission and will automatically be added to our most recent travelogue submissions section of the travelogue home page.
Hotels
To rate or review a particular hotel, select the hotel listing that you would like to rate and enter your review and comments to the Hotel Submission box at the bottom of the page.
To make your comments more meaningful for our other users, we request that you select your Age Group and Type of Traveller from the list or options provided. It is important to stress that this information will not be used for marketing purposes, but rather is intended as a means for our users to evaluate your review in relation to your particular background.
For example, the expectations of a young backpacker at a particular hotel may be radically different to that of a 50-something business man, and thus we feel such a qualification such be made self-evident to our users.
Holidays
Users can submit their suggestions and reviews to both the Globeescape.com’s holiday guides and our holiday service provider’s section.
Travellers who have visited or live at any destination listed within Globeescape.com are welcome to recommend their favourite holiday attractions on any of the following sections:
• Tourist Attractions
• Cuisine & Restaurants
• Bars & Clubs
• Beaches
• Parks & Gardens
• Shopping
• Children’s Activities
• Useful Website
To submit your holiday tip or suggestion, go to the relevant section of the holiday destination you have visited and click the “Submit your favourite” link to add your suggestion instantly online.
Please note: This section is intended for genuine submissions from holiday-makers who feel that our users would find the recommended attraction or service of real interest to them. We request that restaurateurs, bar owners and so on do not abuse the Globeescape submissions facility by seeing our guides as opportunity for free listings.
Our travel team of travel editors manually check all submissions and are proactive in rejecting blatant attempts to manipulate the independent information that Globeescape.com aims to offers its community of traveller.
In addition, holiday-makers are able to rate and review holiday providers, by submitting their rating 1 – 10 and comments relating to their experiences with the particular holiday provider.
Personal Details
When submitting information to Globeescape.com usually request the following information:
• Your Name
• Country of Residence
• Email Address
• Website URL (where appropriate)
In line with our Submissions Policy, no information submitted to Globeescape.com will not be passed on to any third parties and will only be used by Globeescape.com. It is important to stress that your email address will not be submitted live onto Globeescape.com under any circumstance, and will only be used by Globeescape.com to confirm that your submission has been accepted.
